It seems like most of the pictures of fish on the internet are of juvenile or still growing fish. Considering how different some fish look as adults (bala sharks come to mind), I'd love to see some pictures of your fully grown fish!

I think they are mature at 8 years

I have had some from 2"

My tank is 8ft long x 6ft wide x 3ft deep with a 6x2x2 sump

T1KARMANN = Vw Beetle convertible

This is the big fish is a datnoides pulcher
I got him at 2" 8 years ago he's now 24" +

This actual datnoid is extinct in the wild you can still get different datnoids which look the same but they are not it takes a well trained datnoid keeper to tell different types apart

That tank is a MONSTER! I wish I had one that big!

Ur tank is around 1300 gallons total btw.

Wow monster fish in a monster tank! So cool. I've never heard of datnoids before, what are they related to?

No, he is kept with a female along with two of their young which I plan on giving away. There is also a chocolate pleco and some other loach fish.

T1KARMANN.... Your rays are killer! So beautiful, and they look huge! Are they hard to maintain? (I just discovered them a few weeks ago)
