Question about my skirted tetras fin?

I have two skirted tetra that harass each other and one has a split fin. My question is will it heal?
I have a uv sterilizer in my aquarium set up. I have researched a little about the sterilizer and from what I gathered from the info I found, it will help heal the fish of ich and tail rot ...etc. my question is will my sterilizer help my tetra?

Well, it will heal eventually, but if the tetras keep going at it, they won't let it heal I would put it in a desperate tank, how many tetras do you have?

I have 2 skirted tetras, 2 silver tipped tetra, 2 serpea tetra and a few mollies and guppies with 1 honey gourami in 29 gallon tank.

I had one skirt tetra who was adopted and he would hunt and nip the fins of the other fish like a stealth fish as soon as I added more skirts he stopped ! Unfortunately he sadly snuffed it on Wednesday last week, I was gutted he was my first tropical fish , I'd had him 2 years, so my point being if you separate they may attack the other fish, personally I love skirts tetras so I would say get some more if you have room for them

Well, all those tetras in a 29 gallon is too much, they each need groups of at least 5, and a 29 gallon doesn't have room for more than 2 schools, I would keep two tetras, up their numbers to 5, and add a school of bottom feeders, the tetras are probably nipping at each other due to low numbers

Ok I'm planning on getting a bigger tank soon but i will move my smaller tetras to the old ten gallon I'm resetting up. How many fish should I have in 10 gallon just the tetra or a couple of make guppies too.

I would only keep the tetras as they are too big for a 10 gallon
