Hmm, maybe its time to start brushing up on some photo skills Raf. Maybe some nice DSLR pics are in store? Maybe even a video too? Haha

Hello Brian,

All my red cabomba slowly but constantly lost their leave and this week had been removed.

My very expensive blood vomit ($100 for 4 units) are showing signs of decay, with very tiny green leaves coming but all old ones soft and yellow/brown.

All 3 tanks seems to be fully cycled, with water parameters very controlled. I have been collecting rain water and using it as the "compensation" for evaporation instead of R.O. water. All growth are nice, besides the red cabomba and the blood vomit.

I am yet to select the betta that will be the king of the third cube, but I have at least 3 candidates that are stunning! Can't wait to share.

I can send some pictures from my newly acquired iPad Mini, way nicer than the iphone. As soon as I find a replacement for the red cabomba and have the fish on the third tank, I will consider some SLR/tripod captures.

Thank you for asking.

Wow... sorry to hear that about some of your plants. Have you been researching the problem? Maybe some sort of deficiency? You need to save the BV!

Can't wait to see new pics :)

The current tank I have preserved the inclination. I did you some physical retention under the substrate to avoid regular settling to take place. I believe I have enough data to make it, even though you are absolutely right, it can't be really radical otherwise it will end up leveled.

Random example of other triple concepts that were successful with slopes.

Dude this is awesome and I seriously hope you pull this through. Can you link me to that photo? Who posted this?

I have no clue. With the betta breeding process going on the 8th week, I want to be done with the fish before I consider buying replacements.

What are you going to do with all the Betta fry? Did you find local takers or are you going to expand by considering to ship?

Tanks still looking good, Raf!

I have a local fish shop that will sell some. I will give away some and keep 2 for a possible F2.

I will consider shipping, but due to the lack of experience, buyer will have to be willing to send me the shipping materials. I will receive that, add the fish and ship back. Hopefully I will not have to do it.

These are some of the ugly babies. The good looking one I am saving for when they become fully developed.

Some more from my F1:

The tank on the left has aprox. 6 viable females so I can choose who is going to be my F2. Tank on the right has the selected male.

That's pretty cool... did you find a local club or LFS that are going to snatch up the offspring? How are your plants doing?

Most of the fish have been claimed. I just kept the "champions" to see who is going to be on my F2.

Plants are fine, but they need attention. With all the fish gone, will make it doable.

This is one of my guys, sold today to a nice couple. His permanent home is a 10 gallon hex.

WOW!!!! That is a gorgeous Betta, Raf! Man... can you ship me one when the weather cools down? Haha

Seriously though... I think this is one of the BEST Bettas I've ever seen.

Good job!

Thank you. Here is another one, like the father but with better form and white tipped fins.
