No im not gonna add him. I was gonna get another. I was telling you that i have some experience with them but not alot. The one in the 37g will not eat seaweed sheets or atleast i dont see him do it. He just nips off the rock, glass, power head, sand, and intake on the canister filter.

Ah ok gotcha. You should have no problem with a lawnmower then. Check out liveaquarias description of dispar, they tell you how to sex them.

Ok thanks bribo! Is there any chance a coral banded shrimp would pair up with a yellow watchman goby? Heard about this earlier today

Ok so i looked at Live Aquaria and it says that the most dominant female becomes a male, kinda like clowns right? Also says they should be kept by them selfs in anything smaller than a 125. I will take the chance and house 3 because im dieing for a couple of these guys! Also have a noob question. Ive never done a sump so this will be my first time. For filtration do all i have to have is a filter sock and some bagged carbon? I might be setting up a refugium but all ive got for space is a 15g sump.

Coral banded will not pair with the watchman, however a pistol shrimp will. I think you will be fine with a trio in that size tank, the dimensions give a good amount of swimming room. Filtration I'd run purigen or chemi pure elite over carbon and then try and fit a skimmer in.

One of my lfs has a crap load of skimmers, im sure one will fit. Any pistol will do? When you say trio do you mean the anthias or shrimp/goby?

It usually happens within a few days, but my pair have never really hung out and I've had them both for about 3 years lol. Just my luck I guess, maybe I dont have the right combo. I have a tiger pistol and a pink spotted shrimp goby.

Oh thats a bumber, i hope mine doesnt turn out that way :(. Now, back to stocking. For invertabrates im thinking- 5 blue leg hermits, 5 red legged hermits, a blue tuxedo urchin from my other tank, 4-5 bumble bee snails, 3-4 turbo snails, 2-3 pink margaritas in the sump, 2 cleaner shimp, a tiger shrimp, and coral banded shrimp

You dont really need cleanup for the sump, that is the one area of the setup that is made to get algae kinda. lol are you doing a refugium? If so you want the algae to grow there and not in the tank. :)
You know urchins eat coralline algae right? I have zero in my 90g thanks to the two urchins lol.
And lastly, coral banded can be nasty, not sure you would want to mix them with other shrimp. I still dont know who killed my like 10 cleaner shrimp in my 125g, it was either my goby, the pistol or the coral banded. Just more information for ya

Oh ok thanks for the advice carey! I wont add any snails to the sump then, i may be do a fuge, not sure if i have enough space. I wont get a coral banded then, they arent worth the cleaner shrimp. So now i know why all my coraline is disapearing in my 37g!

Could take weeks or months but it depends on it's condition as well, whether you have LR mixed in or not.

I will get about 5-10lbs of live rock and 5lbs from my other tank. Im gonna stick without an urchin in this tank, want as much coraline as possible!

One question about sumps, for filtration all i have to have is the filter sock? And the fuge will do the rest? Should i add some carbon? Also should i run a canister filter for additional filtration?

I sometimes run carbon in my tanks but usually dont. The sock will catch any particulate matter that is floating about and the refugium is just there to do its job as well. Unless you are experiencing any issues I would run it like it is. :)
