Okay, I haven't read every last entry in this thread, just want to say that it looks good now. I just don't get why people start off with such criticism of a persons lack of knowledge when they can't bring themselves to throw out a cheap relatively common practice- get a 55g bin from wherever and set him up in that.... Look out for those that are alarmists, relax, your fish will be fine, you appropriately handled the situation..... I hate to be a troll, but come on now- fish existed before humans, carp have adapted to just about every climate, every type of water condition and living in pools that dry up in the dry seasons.... It's definitely not a happy life for the goldie, but a 5g tank is much better than a half gallon bowl.
