Can I put a ghost shrimp with a goldfish?

Hi I have a tank with a goldfish and I was interested in getting a ghost shrimp, but will the goldfish eat it? Is there any other shrimp that can go with. Goldfish?

If it will fit in the fishes mouth it will most likely be eaten. Maybe you could try a bamboo shrimp.

Yes, goldies will eat ghost shrimp! If your tank is heavily planted, they have better chances of survival. I honestly have not attempted any other type of shrimp other than ghosts with goldfish due to the risk of them becoming dinner.

Hi, sorry for the late reply. I decided not to go with a ghost shrimp, but do you think a bamboo shrimp could work?

I have no personal experience with bamboo shrimp so I honestly do not know. If the shrimp can even remotely fish in a goldfish's mouth, it may become dinner.

Thanks for the fast reply! I think bamboo shrimps get big, so I think it would be ok
