There are so many strains of these fish and I'd live to see some of yours. Here are mine as of now!

Hello?

Such beautiful fish, but I hear such horror stories about keeping them. I would love one, but have no doubt i'd kill it.

They are not as difficult as people think. I do a 50% water change a week. Of that 50, 30% is RO water. I thought they were going to be extremely difficult but they aren't.

Honestly I'm having a harder time keeping my neon tetras alive.

i hear you man! I've been losing tetras more than any other fish I've ever had, rams included.. It's something different with each one in the same tank too.. Discus are sick, my Lfs has 4" blood parrot and blue ones for $90, sound about right??

I think your thinking of pigeon blood brookster. And for 4" that's a good deal.

And delapool, if you saw a breeding pair of discus for $60 I would grab those. Breeding pairs go for $400+ and can make you $200 every two weeks!!!

Thanks shellyx, many think that Discus are very difficult to keep, but unfortunately its all lies.

What size of tank do you keep them in?

I take care of a bunch at a lfs and I've realized the bigger they are the less difficult they're. The little guys need perfect water while the big guys are much more tolerant
