Le Roi est mort. Vive le Roi.

Typically it's used in the phrase, "Le Roi est mort, vive le Roi!" or "The King is dead, long live the King" This means that the (previous) king is dead and we wish the (new) king a long life. It's also to indicate that there is never a time without a king.

Don't tell your girl, just stop by and pick any betta you want. I have about 4 males and 20+ females for you to choose from.

Just tell her it has the marble gene, it changed colors once it reach adulthood.

Aww sorry for your loss, I lost my betta a little while ago too. Now I've got an empty tank...;) what should I put in it? (It's only 2.5 gal)

It depends on the dimension. If it's a long 2.5 you could do the puffer. If it is tall like the mini bow, it might be to tight for a puffer.
That's my 2 cents, and that and a dollar will buy you a cup of coffee.

Brookster what happened with the timer? It wasn't the dreaded "on" switch was it?

Little nervous since I will be joining the high-tech ranks this week...

Exactly! I was tinkering with my setup, moved a tank and solenoid and split a larger one, changed the on/off settings and what not.. left them ON!!!! straight gas for a week straight. I don't push it to far so the DC was line as usual but I noticed one of my barbs had a cloud eye. Google cloud eye and it mentioned ph swing.. CO2 ' S been ON!!!!! Felt pretty bad.. felt much worse once I saw the betta:(

That's too bad man. Sorry to hear it. I've had a couple incidents where I leave the lights on for a couple days, so I know how easy it is to make that mistake.

Whoa if it weren't for bad luck you'd have none at all!

Definitely got a leak in the system somewhere, trick is finding where. Best place to look is at the connection to the tank and the gauges.

Yah.. had to be, i use teflon tape at all the fittings, i think the regulator spun a bit which broken the seal. The place is closed today. 2 days without co2.. nooo

Kind of a random day to be closed. You aren't getting your gas from a welding distributor are you?

Makes sense now. I assume you've got one of those really nice aluminum tanks that you want to keep? I found an old 5# tank on craigslist. The welding gas distributors up here just swap cylinders, so there was no point in getting the aluminum tank, even though they are so nice looking...

They only have those for 20# tanks.. it is the shiny new one though:)

So far.. yes..it's cheap so there is always the possibility of premature failure. Good reviews so I took the chance.
