Here is a shot of my calico single tailed goldfish.

From the research I have done, I believe it is an American Or Bristol Shubunkin?

The blue gravel in there Used to be a "River" from front left through center to back right, under the bridge of course... Unfortunately, gravel vacuuming has made that a real mess.

I actually find it nice blending in like it does. Id love to add plants fake or real but my oscar would just wreck them. Anyhow, for the filter, as previously mentionned you could also take a look at sunsun canister filters. 304/404b's cost 89$ and have a 525gph flow rate while an fx6 has 563gph but goes for 400$. Its a very reliable filter with great reviews and makes almost no sounds(most dont even know if its on or not, thats how silent it is).

I am not familiar with Sunsun. I will look them up. The people around here that have used FX5's for sale want way too much money. I almost purchased an aquarium from Craigslist, but asked the guy what he cleaned the tank with.... He used dish soap!!! Red Flag!!!! Decided to back out on that one...

Look them up on ebay they are cheaper than on amazon for some reason. As for the fx5 it is definitely much more expensive than a sunsun even a used fx5 is more expensive than a brand new sunsun. As for the dish soap, i already used bleach by accident to clean an aquarium(back when i was ignorant about all the dangers of it in aquaria life) and it never cause a problem to me or my fish, but i still dont recommend or concur with using bleach. Haha just saying :)

Amazon's seller fees are different, but also because of a different market (generally smaller regarding amount of sellers). So the market price is more based againdt the competition and higher fee structure.
