After breaking and being rebuilt a couple of times, my flour sifter has been reassigned to removing Eco Complete and empty snail shells from the sand.

Looking good nirbhao, did you take the wall out to paint the swirls? They just seem more noticeable

The tank looks awesome. And I see cute little puff monsters.
Thank you! I love our little piggies.
Which light is the bottom pic?
Satellite Current LED+. It has these settings like clouds, and so brightness and color temperature shift gradually. It's my favorite thing about that light.

Nope. Just a difference of lighting, I guess. Less horizontal light to fill in those gaps.

Are you supposed to remove shrimp exoskeletons?

I have always read to leave the shrimp molts. They are nibbled on and dissolve add minerals to the water.

I moved the moss wall.

I've spent a couple of hours on this tank every weekend for the past few weekends, but this weekend it doesn't need it. Feels very strange...

Then you need to whip out the clay and make something for the tank. Don't be a slacker.

Hey! I was going to smart alec something pretty close to that.

But instead....

Just enjoy the wonder of not having one (more) extra thing to do now! Ahhhh. Quiet moment and a favorite beverage.

The topple popple has a concert slash bake sale tomorrow and it's also the service for the Buddha's birthday. It was nice to be able to enjoy today. At least for this tank.

Thanks, guys.

I'm realizing that Pepé isn't an amano shrimp. He's become increasingly more orange since we've brought him home. I think he's actually an orange sakura shrimp.

Seymour is getting bigger all the time. He's molted at least three times so far. He's without a doubt the biggest critter in the tank.

Compacta is the only plant that has this issue, but the leaves are pretty much constantly dissolving. What's going on with that?
