It's a shame the female didn't survive. He's interested in the blue female I have but so far she's turned her nose up at him

Very cool to hear !
The picture Tuna [Keith] took of mine [best picture of all] is gone now so I would love to see your and how dark it has got .
I am lousy at quality pictures...I keep trying but seems harder then breeding !

Here it is again . I saved it :)(y)

Thanks man!
That is almost as awesome as seeing them in person.
Definitely best picture of any of my actual stock .(y)

Nice! I might be restocking my tank. Lol! Love those colors! That's what you call a high class Ram! ??

Need update :)

Been working out of town between Rochester and Buffalo in a womens prison so not much time to post or due more then maintenance.
3@ 5g tanks of juvis /fry were promoted to a 40b and this weekend I plan on moving the oldest 2 batches in separate tanks to a 40b combining them. Some may be ready to sell ,but as usual I want them to be a little bigger and better before I sell any.
2 pairs are still breeding but not raising fry very well.
Lost one male to something quick and have a female with popeye ?
The 4 in the 33 long lay eggs that are off and on good but none survive to be raised..
Right now hoping the fish cruise through the summer and I can get them and me working more efficiently in the fish room.

It is summer and have to work[generate $$$] so no looking for much in the way of productive breeding again before fall. Maybe they will figure it out and raise some fry but knowing rams the way I do I doubt it.

New here, really enjoyed you tube on coral bandits rams. Would like to get some. How do I conact tom or does anyone have contact information. Thanks

You can PM me back or email me through this site by clicking on my 'name' in any of my post.
I ship on Mondays .
Thanks ,
Tom
Pretty psyched to move the fry/ juvis to larger tank today as I know this will promote a growth spurt and hasten the selling of the many I have..
It is hard not having the time I so much enjoy spending in my fish room but I am patient and know winter will come and odds are I will 'have time ' then !:brows:
I am doing my best to reduce the stock in my fishroom by quanity to increase the quality of fish I breed . This last winter was another good one so I have high hopes again for the next breeding season .(y)

Just bought the pair of black rams you had listed today on Aquabid. Very excited to get a chance to breed these. Gonna go through this thread to see what tips you have for care. I have a lot of wild S.A fish ( wild discus, Altum Angels, geophagus, biotodoma cupidos, etc... so imagine that they need soft water with low TDS-- and warm- above 80 degrees.

I have lots of the usual cichlid foods: freeze-dried blackworms, frozen bloodworms and brineshrimp, New Life Spectrum cichlid pellets, and new Life Spectrum flake.

Anyways, great to see a thread here to guide me with them.

Unfortunately I have little experience with dwarf cichlids.

Tom would know exactly. (CB)

I thank You all for Birthday Greetings.
