Would it be better to use one 15 watt cf bulb and one incandescent or should I put two 15 watt cf bulbs in? Would the plant be better with 30 or 15 watts?
The tank in never dirty but I think that is because I haven't been feeding him enough. I am feeding him more now and was going to do like 50% a month. Do you think it needs it every week if it doesn't seem dirty?
The bulbs are incandescent. My fish is pretty small for the size they can get to and I have had him for a year. I thought he would have grown but he is still about the same size (about 4 inches long)
It is a 10 gallon and one pumpkinseed sunfish. I have had it for over a year and have been using hard water without a conditioner but he looks pale and I was wondering if I should change what I am doing. I added conditioner the other day and I'll see how he does in awhile.
I just have two 25w aquarium light bulbs for light now. I know I need something different for a plant but what should I get? The fish is a pumpkinseed sunfish, I have had it for a little over a year.
My fish looks a little pale so i did a ph test and saw that it is 7.6 or higher (test only goes to 7.6). I dont think it is that big of a deal because i think the ph has always been like that and I have had it for over a year. I know a stable ph is better than a perfect one but should I slowly...
I have a 10 gallon tank with one fish and i would like to add a plant. Just a small one, nothing fancy. Any advice like what I need for the plant and what type of plant is a good starting one? Also would a plant change any levels like ph or anything? Thanks
