I just added a LED airstone to the back wall of my cichlid tank yesterday. This am 3/4s of my blood parrot is now back to his normal color. Go figure.

No agression issues in this tank. He has hiding spots, but I never seen him in them but once.

I have a 30 gal tank that id like to turn into a cichlid tank. Can someone recommend a list of smaller fish I could put in this tank? Also, what special needs do cichlids have other than hiding spots? Can someone recommend a good website for setting up a c tank? Thanks in advance!

Yes, in their current tank I have. A power filter. I plan on getting a 10 gallon for when there ready to breed. Put some floating plants in there, and drop the water level to 6-8" and crank up the temp to get them "in the mood". But the girls have to grow a bit more.

I just ordered a 37 gal tank and read the guide to fishless cycling, and was wondering for this size tank, how much ammonia do I add to get to 4ppm? Is there a mathmatical equation like x mls ammonia for 1 gallon of water, or do you just dump some in? I have the Ace janitorial strength ammo...
