I will work on that, thank you! Any tips to get my pH up? I’ve added crushed coral in the past- but it’s low again. I know I’m not overstocked.

My pH is low, I did check that. And yes, they checked it as well as I. I’m not planning on adding any, I feel horrible that these 2 had to suffer [emoji20] but I never had and reason to think there was a problem.

Back story- this tank has been up and running for 2 years with the same fish. Water changes 1-2 times a month as needed (have not tested water in about a year due to necessity, everything was fine- not broke don’t fix it right?) Wrong. I added 2 new fish both dead in days. $80 down the drain...

Yes, about half of them were white this morning and quite a few others were eaten. There's maybe 20-30 left that were amber.

Can they actually grow in a community tank? I have.. 1 gold gourami 1 blue gourami 2 silver dollars 1 German ram 2 angels and the pleco.

Although I will say the pleco stays low when the light is on- shouldni leave the light on until they spawn or will that just mess up the fish?

There's no way I have the time or the room to set up another tank and get it to where I can move the others into it. I didn't get the angels for breeding I just picked the 2 healthiest looking and a few months later here we are lol.

ETA: there is also a large pleco in this tank- will he eat them or will the angels keep them away?

I should have mentioned as coral bandit said, I have my assortment in a 55g.
