Hi, I have a Marineland Penguin 300 filter, and I was wondering if you could help me out. The filter is discontinued. I got it for free on craigslist, so I guess I can't complain, but it needs some new parts. Does anyone know if the bio-wheels for the Penguin 350 would work for this filter...

The first fish to die had a heavily-bloated belly from the store. I don't know if this has anything to do with it.

I did cycle it. I tested it heavily after as well. I'll keep up the water changes. My other fish are doing fine. I feel like it may be a swim-bladder disease due to the fish being unable to swim upwards. The reason I feel it isn't ammonia/nitrite poising is the fact that the fish are dying off...

The cichlids seem peaceful enough for larger shoaling fish like the rainbows and danios. Filtration-wise, would I be over-doing it as well? Thanks again.
