I just got a new 10gal tank set up and am cycling. I am looking for a few ideas on what to stock in it. I will have live plants and CO2. Thank you in advance.

I've read that it can be either partially or fully submerged. I have no experience with it though. After checking out liveaquaria. The description says the same as well.

I have a 5 gal I bought at Wal Mart for $20. Pretty good. Easy to clean and the filter it came with works pretty well. I had to swap out the bulb since I have plants. My Betta loves it. Had to make a baffle out of a water bottle so he doesn't get pushed around. I recommend it.

I would start by checking to make sure you don't have any leaks anywhere.

I've had success with ember tetras. My betta is an oddball though. He will school with them sometimes. I also have snails. The baby ones he will swim up to look at then leave alone. Just depends on the temperament of the betta.

According to their website it is legal to breed them for educational purposes and for personal purposes only. You can't sell or barter(trade)them. It says nothing about giving them away. Putting a patent and trademark on a fish is ridiculous. Might as well do that with a mule or turkey.

Krylon Fusion paint. It's a pretty good spray paint. Several people here suggested it to me and it works well.

I like it since it will catch any gunk or help with overflow. That and you can tell if there is pressure from that to the tank. More of a piece of mind I guess since I don't have to look in my filter. I have it diffusing through that rather than a diffuser in the tank.

Maybe try a smaller jar for the bubble counter. I have a 2L bottle that goes into a small glass mustard jar. It seems like it's not getting enough pressure to leave that second bottle. That's what it sounds like anyway.
