ok so heres a phot of the offensive snail...
also the spore (OR WHATEVER IT IS) was too far away to get a photo of with my crap camera but it looks like a small bubble covered in small white bubbles!!! is this a snail egg?? i have guppies and 4 male cherry barbs so it cant be a fish egg!!

Also on looking for fry found a tiny spore looking thing on a plant leaf and 1 small snail :s will post pics later but...
Ive been using an API test kit parameters are fine I only added the females recently (last week) this could attribute to the behaviour changes :?
So are you suggesting if I added a couple more barbs they'd calm down ??
hi ive just got home from 3 days away thinking all would be fine as i did a PWC before going and fed them ect.
i come home to find a portion of 1 male guppies tail has definately been nipped at. (see attached photo)
i have 7 guppies (3 males 4 females) and 4 cherry barbs in a 95 ltr tank...
im going to upset a few here now but... i was also advised the nutrafin cycle by my LFS and although the majority will advise against it I cycled my tank with 4 cherry barbs within 2 weeks levels all normal ammonia 0 nitrites 0 nitrates 0.5
running an average haleum type lamp 12 hrs a day will cost about £400 a year to run, LED setups running 24/7 will only cost £7 a year by comparison!! although the initial setup cost is more!
just something to consider!!
