    Concerns about my Raccoon Butterflyfish

Thanks Carey! I will definitely get right on that! I'm trying my best to help this little guy. I also have found a potential home for him in a 125 gallon. :) thanks again'

    Concerns about my Raccoon Butterflyfish

Also, (sorry) I did have some feather dusters that are in fact gone. He may have eaten them but it's just the fact that I haven't seen him eat shrimp. I may be over-reacting but I would rather be safe than sorry. <:/

    Concerns about my Raccoon Butterflyfish

Thank you all for the responses. I do realize that this is not a sufficient tank for him. But, 1) he is really small. I know still not a reason but like said before, it's better than a small overstocked petco tank. Which here, he is with a goby and a few corals. Also, he was in a tank with lots...

    Concerns about my Raccoon Butterflyfish

Hey all! So basically, I saved a little Raccoon Butterflyfish about 6 days ago from petco. Anyways, I feed my fish brine/mysis shrimp every other day. I have him in a 29g biocube. I have fed him three times and not once have I seen him eat. I do have corals in there with him and realize that he...

Apestacia <--(not sure if spelled right)

I would like to thank you all very much for the input and answers. I think I will try some aiptasia-x and then if that doesn't work, I will use the fragging and lighter idea. Again, Thanks to you all! Lane

Apestacia <--(not sure if spelled right)

Hey guys. It's been a while since I have been on. Anyway, I have this little anemone which I can say its name but I'm not sure how to spell it. Sounds like Ep-e-stay-sha. Anyway it's on a small rock with a little bit of Pulsing Xenya. I'm not sure what I should do. I have been eager to get some...

Not sure what my fish has

Also, when fish get ick, they can get it inside their gills to where we can't see it. The red mark may have come from it scratching against the rocks.

Not sure what my fish has

White-ish coloring could be a sign of stress. How old is it? Have you added anything new recently?

    all my fishes died!!!!!!!

Yes. Don't siphon your sand-bed. That's a big no!! Doing that will cause all of the nitrates sitting it it to release into your water therefor killing its inhabitants...

    BioCube 29g lighting. Please help.

Yeah. We took apart the top and only the fixtures (the moonlights and fans) that are connected to the wire board on the inside aren't working so...that's where I'm confused. Is it the fans and the moonlights or the rusty transformer on the inside?

    Lunar LED lighting question

A picture would help a lot with the white things. But the corals take a few days to acclimate properly to your tank. The lunars (as far as I know) do absolutely nothing for or against coral. I leave mine on all the time and my corals are perfect. :)
