I have noticed for the passed few days a lump on my bettas left side. It doesn't appear to be hurting him or anything. The only weird thing I have seen him doing is laying on the floor more.
I have been seeing these tiny pink/purplish worms in my tank off and on. Usually one at a time sightings but today I saw 3 all in the same area. It freaked me, so I took my aquascaping tweezers and removed them. I want to know if they are good worms or not. Thanks.
He seems better now. Hes swimming around more and he even ate bloodworms later in the evening. I might add aquarium salt but I definitely will keep the water warm and clean.
The tank isn't very high, maybe a foot and a half from the top of the tank to the ground. Its on a bedside table. The rip in his caudal fin doesn't go all the way to his body, though I am not sure if it will still cause an infection.
Today I brought home a zebra nerite snail. While I was bag acclimating it as well as adding tank water to the bag my betta ned decided to investigate. He got between the bag and the tank wall, got scared and jumped out of his tank and landed on the floor! He started flopping around on the ground...

Since the first day I took him home hes been flaring constantly. He mostIy does it near the sponge filter out flow of bubbles and near a bunch of floating plants where he builds his bubble nest. I dont think its the medication, because before I started treatment he had one thinning spot on...
