I have the same thing...not quite as long, but very very orange. On one end you can definitely see antennae..but also the root looking things all over too. This one curls into a ball alot but doesn't move around very much. Sorry, I broke my camera, no pics. :(

There are also some really nice corals that fish will take to. But again, your lighting would most likely have to be more than what you have at the moment. My clowns didn't care for my bubble tip anemone, but they loved the pulsing xenia. :)

Why has no one mentioned this before??? I've never had the problem, but read about it constantly. This is the one reason I've been afraid of getting any really nice fish...afraid of losing it.

Is there a problem using a CC substrate? I've had one for almost a year now, and besides an algea outbreak (due to a LR), I've not had any other problems.

I have a 58 gal tall, with 2 175 mh, and 2 15 actinics, and a 50 NO 10,000. What do I need, if anything to "balance" out the lighting? And is this enough lighting for a clam? I have 2 55 pc's, but wasn't sure if I was going to add them to the canopy or not.

I have that on one of my star polyp rocks and it has literally suffocated the whole rock....very few of the polyps left. I have tried manually removing it, but its wrapped so tight around the polyps, that it removes them as well. :bawl:
