    Killifish Eggs

I'd probably check that out with the seller on how old they are. I would emerse them in a small amount of water as said in the link and increase it after they hatch.

    Killifish Eggs

I know you are not spawning them but generally the process of raising them is the same and when numbers build up it can get overwhelming. You have annuals meaning they only live for a year. https://www.killies.com/hatching1.htm Give this a read. Then read up on breeding them, make sure you've...

    Killifish Eggs

Yes I understand that much was simply offering my knowledge on the topic from experience. To spawn them I would place them in a small container of aged aquarium water but first what species of killi is it? There are annuals and non annuals, some are easy to raise and hatch others are not.

    Killifish Eggs

Completely depends on the species really. I kept Gardneri. For about 18months and bred them religiously. I would remove eggs from the tank collected via spawn mop and place in a small clear container. From here I would just wait it out removing and clear or fungus eggs. Normally a fertile egg...

What can you tell me about SW?

Hey all, I am about to start working at specialty fish store in my area and I know my knowledge on SW is lacking. It's really just something I've never experimented in due to the general cost/time associated with it. Are there any bits of info you can all share that would help me out great...

    Bichir's First Planted!

He looks awesome. I think time will tell here but eventually I think you'll see that black under tone come out. My betta was orange with this blue undertone but 6 months later he's got some solid metallic blue colourings on tail fins. Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

    Bichir's First Planted!

Tank is looking sweeeett Bircher....welcome to the leafy side. Definitely think the tank is gonna look good when it fills in but also think it needs something in the background. If you're considering a sword of sorts go something interesting like a ozelot or red flame. Sent from my iPhone...

    Caleb's Tanks

Thanks for that. I've been doing a lot of reading about it. Initially why I've never thought much of it is the pure financial costs to maintain and establish reefs. Now that I'm a bit older have a better understanding of how the hobby works then I think I could do it. Just not yet....haha. For...

    Caleb's Tanks

Not gonna lie the more I see these reef tanks the more I want one. Promised myself I'd master the planted side first before I even contemplated "the switch". Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

    Cloudy Water

I agree completely. We are here to help and have all gone through this stage. Two years ago I still kept cherry barbs and harlequin rasboras in a 5 gallon tank even though they really needed larger schools and a larger volume of water.... We learn from our misadventures it's all part of the...

    Cloudy Water

What over details can you give us on your tank? Are there any fish in it yet? I know it seems big but 60 liters isn't a large amount and does limit your available stocking. What sort of fish are you interested in keeping? Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice
