For a while i had a green spotted puffer in with 2 clowns, a coral beauty and a lawnmower blenny. He was very peaceful and kept to himself. Unfortunately, the GSP is the only puffer I have experience with.

It's "only fish"?? I don't know about you but I"d be pretty upset if all the hard work I put into taking care of my tank and its inhabitants were not enough and I lost one or more of them. The fish have a right to live, too. If someone is not willing to put in the time and effort of caring...

OK the first water change is scheduled for tonight and I'll also go out and buy some selcon. Do you know if HLLE is contagious? I can't find any info. indicating that it is. Just wondering if I have to worry about the rest of my fish.

Most people who do salt water will use RO/DI water. Personally, I use distilled water and I mix it with salt and get it to the condition/salinity I want and then I let it sit for a few days before I add it to my tank. Some people keep 30+ gallons of pre-mixed water on hand and they aerate it...
