i have a pair of gouramis ready to lay eggs. i am told to put the tank up to 85 to help them lay eggs. will this cause trouble for the rest of the tank. i have mollies, black tetra's, pleco, 2 angel fish, and some assorted platy's. thanks rob

hi i saw the add for the tropical fish auction and supplies at the polish falcons in depew this sunday, november 6th the registration is at 930 and auction starts at 11am. admission is free. the ad for it is in the buffalo news under fish and pets. rob

now i have 2 more questions. what kind of skimmer is best and economical? and once te tank is cycled, which should take 2 to 3 weeks i assume. do i have to quarantine the first fish. is it best to install 1 fish at a time? thats when the quarantine would come into place. rob

i have penguin 330's and with the proper water hight i dont even know they are working. the new penguin 350's are also supposed to be very very quiet. rob
