I have a new biocube 29g, I have the lights on a timer, when the lights first come on the "fan area" on the left side of the hood make a rattling type of noise. After 30 min. Or so it stops... Any ideas?

Am new to the saltwater hobby. I am only keeping soft corals or corals with lower light/flow needs in my tank. Do you add reef supplements to you water? Saw there are multi liquid supplements as well as calcium, etc. Are any additives necessary for proper soft coral care?

I have a 30 gal biocube saltwater tank with 2 small clownfish, live rock and some soft coral. My parameters have been great, this is my third week, do I do a water change just because it is time or do I wait for the ammonia, nitrate,nitrite levels to rise before I change water?

Ok, I have my new saltwater tank about 3 weeks. 30 gallon, with live rock from established tank, 2 small clownfish, 2 small hermit crabs, fire shrimp, small peppermint shrimp, green Goni and torch corals. My water chemistry is perfect, all levels in range....but my fireshrimp and hermit crab...
