Adding driftwood to an aquarium is basically a no brainer. How about adding dried leaves and is it ok to add leaves in with Pictus catfish? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

OK here are some new facts and questions about GH testing. I retested my water, before and after the softener. Then I tested my neighbors non softened water. Same results. I have a question about GH testing. I have a water softener. My KH measures 6. I am at 40 drops of GH test solution, and the water is as yellow as it was at 2 drops. Is the softener screwing up the Gh test?

HI racedvl I added a piece of driftwood to 2 different tanks. After of course I boiled them, and froze them as well. That was last September. Mine still float. Yes they are real wood. I cut down a couple of larger pieces to get the size I wanted. I am not sure when these will sink, so hang in there.

Hi Sandie What are your water perimeters? Every thing I have read, says lower temp, and feed 4 times a day. So how did you get them to breed? Thanks and good luck!!!!
