Adding driftwood to an aquarium is basically a no brainer. How about adding dried leaves and is it ok to add leaves in with Pictus catfish? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

Leaves (dried) are fine as long as they were not exposed to pollutants or toxins. I’ve used maple, oak, sycamore, and Indian almond leaves in my shrimp tank and fish (tetras, Rasboras, Rainbows) tanks. Just like driftwood, the leaves will release tannins.
