I used only drylok. I use quickcrete concrete tint to color my drylok. I like how it came out.

I don't have experience with that filter but my experiences with other canister filters a little Vaseline on the rubber seal helped stop any leaks I had.

The drylok you used for the back grounds was it just the latex masonry waterproofer?

What kinda paint would you use on a glass aquarium to paint the background.

They do breed like rabbits. I have a tank full of them started with 20 now i cant count them all.. The big things are clean water and stable parameters. And nothing that will eat the shrimplets of course.

Yea lol there good at hiding. When I got my 3 horne nerites I didnt see them for almost 2 weeks after I put them in the tank lol.

They look great. Also horned nerites dont get very big.

I feed mine zucchini. I just peel it and blanch it for about a minute. My snails love it(nerites and mystery snails). I just buy it from any store haven't had any issues..

Put some purigen in the filter. That stuff does wonders for making water crystal clear.
