I have been noticing these red spot on this Cory and smaller red spots on the other cories. There is no sharp objects and no aggressive fish only the cories and Siamese Algae Eaters unless the Siamese Algae Eaters are but I mostly see them just chasing eachother around and not cories. Awhile ago...
But can you tell me if I can run the CO2 system 24/7 even if the lights are out or do I just put in an air pump at night? And what about the ph a lot of people are saying co2 will lower it so is there a way that I can keep it at a solid 7.0?
I'm getting a Hagen Nutrafin CO2 Natural Plant System with CO2 Activator and Stabilizer from Amazon for my 10 gallon because the Fluval can't ship Fluval Mini Pressurized 20g-CO2 Kit to my location but that ladder is quite big and heard a lot about small fishes like neon tetras getting stuck...
Finally got a test kit and here's my parameters. Anything wrong? I'm currently treating the tank with Melafix and Maracide to combat a parasitic infection and my temp is at 30 Celsius. So can't change the water right now due to the meds but I will after the treatment.
My other corys have gotten even longer barbels and the cory has begun to regrow its own as well. I'm currently adding stress zyme to help the aquarium stay clean and stress coat to help with the repairing. :)
Alright but they are swimming around normally digging across the sand and the other fishes are doing fine. Will the Cory with the deteriorated barbels regrow it's barbels ? It has no problem getting the food I throw in.
