Wanted: Oto and Celestial Pearl danio breeders

I am looking for breeders for celestial pearl danios and otocinclus catfish. I know when I was deployed last time there was a breeder for the CPDs but I can't seem to find him on here anymore. They would make an AWESOME addition to my 150! Also my friend is looking to add some slightly different...

    My Beast (150g "Cube")

Thank you for the compliments! I love this tank so much. Every time someone comes over they have to stare at the tank for at least 10 minutes (usually longer lol), even if they have been to my house before. I used fluorescent light covers for the filter "cartridges" and they are working out...

    My Beast (150g "Cube")

Hello all, I haven't been on AA (heheheh) for quite a long time but I have been far from idle. I currently have a 150 gallon planted discus tank with 16 discus, 10 German blue rams, 30 cardinal tetras, 6-8 cory cats and three assorted plecos that I can never remember what they are. I'm currently...

Need Opinions on which way to go!

Nice purchase on the Aqua Clear, I have had nothing but oustanding performance from mine. I also agree with the bigger tank and glad you went with it. AS stated above you will be thinking that tank is small very soon. I have a 75g and I yearn for a bigger tank as soon as I can feasibly do it...

    Twin 20g build

Ok, so after long ado here are some more pics. I got it up and running with no fish and I will share the details in my next post. For now I am short on time :( This is the brass bulkheads in the display tank. Not the best idea honestly but it is what they had at the Home Depot near me. These...

    Twin 20g build

Recently I bought two 20g tanks for $75. One has the filter, light, heater, gravel and a few decorations. The other is missing the filter but has everything else. I just bought two hoods with T5 HO for them, 2x6500k and 2 pink bulbs with moonlights for the display tank and 2x6500k bulbs for the...

    320g build/journey/experiment :-)

I think if anything ever happens to this tank your wife is going to beg you to buy a motorcycle hahahah. I can definitely say that motorcycles are addicting, as are fish tanks. I really hope I can manage to get something bigger than my 75g when I get back from this deployment. I will be headed...

    My 20 gallon build thread

That is definitely a very good looking tank!

    75 gallon planted aquarium log

I really like your tank! Can't wait to see some more plants in there. I'm thinking I will get some shale (that is what it is right?) because that looks super clean!

tank #3--10 gallon "tacky" tank :D

The Sponge Bob home would be hilarious, but I think that would belong in a theme tank lol. I say +1 for the bubbling treasure chest, it is absolutely necessary! At the very least you need some sort of bubbling ornament.

My very own 75g stocking / build thread!

I'm pretty sure that if the predator can fit inside the hole the prey will realize that. And I don't think the predator will stalk that one fish that long unless it is really hungry.

Where can I find decent lighting ?

I'm pretty sure that is basically the same thing. I figured since I'm a cheap skate and I can usually make things work pretty well I would get those for my 75g. I can't see the sense in paying twice as much for a light when that one will do everything I want. I'm not trying to get my aquarium in...

Where can I find decent lighting ?

So you bought the eBay light? Does it work ok and have decent reflectors? I have asked about that light a lot but no one has bought one...

tank #3--10 gallon "tacky" tank :D

I vote for option number two! I really like the tacky tank, which is definitely not something I would have ever thought I would. Awesome job. Some Neon tetras would certainly not be drowned out by the colors. Can't wait to see pics!
