well i fed them zucchini and they absoultely adored it!! anyway that was suggested on another forum so i tried it and they were all over it... i figure that will be their 'treat' food not an every day thing.. anyways thanks for everyone's input!! i think i will buy the hikari algae wafers...

im not one to write down my dreams.. and i have my own theory on why dreams occur anyways so i dont see any point in analyzing them really. i studied it to death in psychology so i would rather talk about them instead of try and figure out why they happened or what they mean.

I had one that gave birth and she died the next day. it was weird tho, she pulled them outta her.. i saw one swimming a few days later but after that nothing. I'd say they will go after the babies honestly cause most fish eat what fits in their mouth.

Oto's eat brown algae :D i just got some sooooo cute.. anyway before i had them when i had a brown algae outbreak outta nowhere, i just used an algae pad to scrape it off everything and sucked it up with the siphon.. then i got the oto's and they ate what i missed. all gone now.

^i was told they only eat the brown algae so that could be the reason they arent touching yours. they have picked at some of my green algae but the brown is nearly gone now.

hey Sati i am a Pisces also!! i have dreams of rescuing animals also-- one was REALLY weird-- i was on this island and i had to rescue my parents pets off the island... but the only way to get off the island was by driving a Geo Tracker through the water.. LOL i couldnt even get the pets to...

wow i wondered the same thing myself--i just figured they didnt.... i didnt know it would nearly kill them if they did!! seems kinda useless if they are just gonna die or be seriously hurt from it.. weird

i suggest zebra danios even tho they are a tropical fish.. i dont have a heater in my tank but it stays a constant temp anyway so there isnt a need for one (i do HAVE one i just dont use it) anyways danios are really hardy fish and extremely fun to watch---i havent seen white cloud minnows...

i just got 3 oto's and was wondering what everyone feeds their's...what brand algae tabs, and what other foods? right now mine have plenty of algae to munch on, but i'm getting zucchini tomorrow cause someone said they love it. and i will try some cucumbers also.. anyways any suggestions?

and why would you not surprised? bettas are fighting fish.. they fight...

i have a 10 gal and a 5 gal and i am not moving any time soon but i dread the day!! oh well at least when im outta an apartment i can have a 200 gal like i want.

WOW im surprised--our petsmart is usually better than that TN Tanks!! every time im in there they are cleaning the tanks!! i guess if some sort of disease hit theres nothing they can do about it tho.... well there IS but you know... There was one girl that worked there for awhile that knew...
