Thanks for the advice. I think I'll stick with the 24/7 for now and see how the plants do. I might just save up and put another finnex on. I was looking at the finnex fugeray planted plus, but I couldn't seem to find the par on a 48". Would those two bump me up to high light?

It's a 20" tall... I'm trying to find a cheaper alternative then adding another 24/7.. Would CFLs be enough to bump up par?

I had stargrass running in my 55 gallon tank and it grew like a weed. It's a beautiful plant. I did have diy co2 hooked up to it, so not sure how it does with out it. I am actually looking for some now.. I loved it, it is easy to cut and replant.

Sorry don't mean to jack your post, but was wondering about the diy tabs? How does one make them?
