I have looked at walmart tanks and they don't get my seal of aproval. The glass is really tine and the seals and really small. Go get an ALL-GLass co. tank they are cheap and good.

IF you have an old filter THATS STILL RUNNING ON AN OLD TANK then trow it on the new tank and you should be good to go within a few hours other wise your gunna have to wait a good week+ sometimes a month before your tank will be haabitable for fishes.

both 120's are good the wide 120 is 18 deep which is still workable. It really comes down to the aquascaper not, the aquarium. I make my 55 gallon look awesome and still look much deeper then it really is.
