Hey sorry it took me so long to get back. I will get some pics today for you guys. No far no problems and if I do have problems in the future I still have that 29 up and going. I just need to get the driftwood and the stained color out. Also we just found out we can buy the house we are in right...
So I have lost half my neons and glowlite tetras(probably due to old age) and my 29 gallon is stained from my drift wood, so I decided to put the fish from the 29 into my 55. I was a little worried but so far it is amazing. I don't think you could ask for more excitement than this tank now. Here...
I love tetras and from my experience black neons are the most hardy. Also it is rare I have a neon or a glolight tetra die. All 3 of those fish will shoal together. With them in a larger tank they split up a little more but the neons and glolight tetras still hang together on the bottom. Also...
Normally a group of them will keep nipping down. 5 should do it or maybe 6. I have 6 tiger barbs, 6 columbian tetras and 5 serpae tetras in a 29 and none of them nip or even chase.
Yup everything gets along just fine. Thanks for the picture taking tips, I will give them a try. Also you are right I do need a background. I was thinking a plain black background.
Hey guys I just wanted to let you know that I have pics for my 55 and my new 29 up now. In my 29 I have 1 albino rainbow shark, 6 colombian tetras, and 6 tiger barbs(2 normal, 2 green, 2 albino).
I'm thinking the tank is about maxed out but was really hoping to get a little more. I wanted to...
What are you going for? What have you done before? Do you want a few big fish or a tetra community? I have a 55 that I recently set up. You can check it out here. I have the fish listed. http://www.aquariumadvice.com/forums/f70/new-55-almost-complete-122302.html
Well Zebra Danios stay fairly small and they are always chasing. You could try like 6 of them in there. Serpae Tetras stay fairly small also. If you want more than one kind you could try like 4 of each. That will get you some competition for sure.
Just got my 29 up and going. I has been cycled for quite a while but finally decided what I wanted in it. Here are a few pics of it. I have 1 albino rainbow shark, 6 columbian tetra, and 6 tiger barbs(2 green, 2 albino and 2 regular). Not sure if I will add any more fish. I think I am pretty...
