    If it's possible to jump right to a 20 long I would. A buddy breeds them in 20s and loves that size due to not having to worry about over crowding. He also sells privately and to the lfs in town

    They self regulate themselfs if you have a boom of snails in an established tank 95% of the time you are over feeding. As you fishless cycle you will get a boom due to the algae bloom your almost bound to get. I like it cause they are cleaning it up for free :) and as some of your plants leaves...

    I did but I was hoping to find first hand knowledge from someone who has kept them etc. Kind of like feeding cucumbers zucchini etc to snails/plecos ppl that were successful enlightened us novices to the better ways. :)
