Tetras are very hardy fish and beautiful to watch in the tank. I have neon tetra and gold neon tetra in my tank and I've never had and problem with them. I highly recommend them! :) Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

I have this bright green-what I'll assume is a type of algae- growing on the the glass. My algae eat does not eat it (which is why I'm confused) and when I tried to wipe it off with a rag, it was really hard to get rid off. I really had to scrub at it. It does not grow/ multiply very quickly...

I just noticed one of my neons getting some black throughout it's body and fins. There is a thicker black line below the part where he is red, more then usual. Is this normal? It's only a little bit but enough to be noticed. I feel like there is a really obvious and compels normal answer...

He may have been over fed and didn't have proper cleaning in his tank or at least not what he's used to. If he's bloated give him a couple days hold off on the feeding. Not sure if you've heard of feeding a pea for bloating. Worked like a charm for me. Also like said above frequent water...
