    ADA Aqua soil + Eco-Complete?

So I guess ADA is really messy then? Should I just put some fluorite sand on top of the Eco-Complete instead? Because I read that Eco-Complete wasn't the best for shrimp since it was so big.

    ADA Aqua soil + Eco-Complete?

The Eco Complete first or ADA? That was my plan sort of so I wouldn't have to send about $100 or more on soil. Also if it leaches ammonia wouldn't that be good for a cycling the tank?

    ADA Aqua soil + Eco-Complete?

Can I mix Eco-Complete and ADA Aqua soil together? I heard it was best to buy ADA Aqua sand or whatever they call it to put on top of the Aqua Soil. But I was wondering if I could but some Eco-Complete down and then put some ADA on top of that? :fish2:

    Hi!

That sounds awesome! I can't wait to get started on my tank. I still haven't decided on what light to use yet. I posted my question about lighting already here if you want to see it. http://www.aquariumadvice.com/forums/f24/current-usa-led-20-gallon-long-344971.html#post3330057

Current USA LED+ 20 gallon long?

Oh yea I forgot about the finnex 24/7. Its just that I am worried if I buy one it will break. Have you had the finnex 24/7? I will also be using co2. The par levels of the Current USA are 36 at 12 inches. Since my gravel will be about 2 to 3 inches that should increase my par right?

Yes I do. I am planing to do a planted aquarium. I was going to do have CPD's but they are to much money at my local pet shop.:(

Current USA LED+ 20 gallon long?

Would it be enough light to carpet a tank with baby tears? I am hoping that it would be enough light to do that. I really don't want to go with a finnix light. I don't like how they look so cheap. If the Current USA LED+ isn't enough what about the Fluval AquaSky?

    Hi!

Forgot to mention that I have a 20 gallon long. I used to have a 30 gallon but I traded with a friend since I wasn't going to be doing Goldfish anymore.
