hello all, has anyone ever have nitrites in their tap water? i tested last nite and nitrites were off the scale on my api test kit. i've been using amquel plus when i do pwc. it's suppose to get rid of ammonis, nitrites , nitrates and chlorine. after treating, the reading is .25.

thanks jragg, i think i read some where on this site that too many pwc only slows down the cycling process and that adding stuff will get rid of bad stuff but will starve the bacteria that's trying to grow. any ideas?
