Just bought 3 yesterday. They're about 2.5" everything seems ok so far. The store had 6 I was very tempted to get all 6 but decided not to. I'll let everyone simmer and get acquainted for a while then move everything to a 75g. I read somewhere that they do better in schools of even numbers...

Definitely interested in a few dennison(roseline) barbs. Just hoping they do well in a tank w a gt, firemouth and electric blue acara. I would like a fairly stocked tank so long as its not cramped or any od them killing off each other

Ive been getting conflicting advice but all advice are good. Right now they're all juices so everythings subject to change. Good to know. I was thinking about some roseline barbs possibly 3 or even tiger barbs... Any thoughts?

Well seeing that they are only around 3 inches the rush isn't there until about 5 inches or so, Besides getting a 75 gallon up the stairs in my condo unit isnt quite easy by myself.

A 75g would be too small for tankmates?!

The bloodworms you give to the firemouth... Are these live or freeze dried?

Yes, currently i have leftover freshwater flakes from my last batch of fish I've gotten rid of..this should be ok? Also I have omega one tubifex worms as their daily as well as shrimp wafers. and algae wafers for them as well especially for the severum

Thank you. Very good to know as I dont plan on breeding any of these guys.. And yes I plan on moving them all to a 75g in about a year when they outgrow this 40b

Do you give this to the severum raw or blanched? Can they also take algae wafers or veggie wafers? Also what would I give them as a daily feed?
