I have hatchets in my tank (known jumpers) so I keep the glass top on. I haven't seen any kind of detrimental effect on my plants.

My favorite right now is the castle in my 20G planted even though I'm going to take it out and go more natural. It still looks kind of cool in there and I'm sure I'll find another spot for it.

I mix mine for the week in a dosing bottle that I got from Gregwatson.com. I just add all my macros in one and my trace in another then add some warm water to dissolve. Then I alternate macros and trace dosing 1/3 of the bottle each day.

My zebras are constantly nipping at me and running into my hands no matter what I'm doing in their tank. My 6yr old swears that one day they're going to eat me but I'm not scared.
