Arrgh! These darn snails are back. I am getting fed of them. I thought I had removed them completely. Now, they have come back in masses. Lettuce trick worked for a while. Now, I just want to get rid of them permenantly. How can I remove them permenantly. Please help.

I put a big lettuce leaf at the bottom of the tank for couple of days. Tons of snails were happily sitting on the leaf. Take the leaf and dispose them. Repeat the process. I must have picked up more 100 snails todate. Still going through the cycle.

The tank is not in direct sunlight. The light is on 10 hours a day continues. I feed the fishes once a day a small pinch of flakes. I used to feed twice a day long time ago and I reduced it to once a day. I do have couple of live plants (long leaves type). Dont know the names. Don't know...

Now I have a new issue: My tank has green algae growing rapidly. Currently, three quarters of the gravel surface is covered and the glass is beginning to be covered. I change ~20% of water weekly and add 5ml of Aqua Plus and 5ml of Aqua Cycle weekly. Is my tank cycling? Or do I have a problem?

Interesting. My son keeps saying that he is seeing greyish black catfish-like figure in the cichlid's tummy! This matter is somewhat funny but am seriously wondering how 1 cat fish could go missing.

I am gob-smacked. I cleaned my tank and removed all ornaments and shuffled gravels. No sign of the missing cat fish. I dont believe it is eaten by other fishes - otherwise I would have seen some skeletons!

Didn't realise these creatures were good at hide and seek game. I will have to search in all the nooks and crannies. My tank does have a good lid, and I doubt it would have jumped out the tank.

I have a 20g Waherhome Tanks, and the cichlid is golden ram (i believe). These fishes are all about 1 inches. Well, I inspected all the fishes and am happy to say that none have them lost any body parts and all are swimming around.

The Aqua-Cycle solution instructions states that 5ml of solution should be added every 7 days. The lady at the local pet shop told me to add 5ml every 2-3 days. Should add it so frequently? Will it harm the fishes?
