My husband (with my OK) brought this home from the LFS for our 55g tank today... it was sold to him as a sailfin pleco.... is it so? If it is, I may need to rehome this thing....or invest in a bigger tank :lol: A little help here?? TIA :flowers:

Hey all! I haven't been around in a long time, I thought since I have a new setup I'd share it (also setting up a shrimp tank and have some Qs) We just set up a 55g, combining everything we had in our two 20g tanks. We used Eco complete (black) substrate, we've got an AC 300 and an AC 50...

so we just acquired a used 55g tank for 15 bucks. one of the corners has a couple chips in the glass but nothing that reaches the seal at all. the glass is super thick, too. my concern is that it does not have the center brace piece. it's not missing, it seems it just was not made with one...

so is it possible or am i crazy? i've got PFS in my 20g high planted tank. i'd like to switch to something that will benefit my plants. i keep seeing everyone's dirt/soil tanks and getting jealous. so what do you think...i'm thinking i would have to move the fish temporarily? would the...

so I bought some pennywort on a whim, cuz I liked the lily pad effect it has. now I don't know what to do with it :biglol: it's kinda all over the place, half planted, half floating. can it be floated? or should I try to root it in the sand? the pic is taken from the side.
