Is a 75 gallon okay for an Oscar and maybe 2 other fish?

How you guys doing. Now to cut to the point, right now I have a 20 high, but I want to get either a 55 or 65 or maybe a 75 gallon tank. What are your takes on this. What are the pros cons of each. I'm leaning toward a 65 gallon cause of the bottom surface area, plus the kinda compact size.

Well I've gone to a few different places to get sand, I really want white sand and can't find it :( all the sand I'm finding have a warning may contain crystalline silica. What the heck is that, and can I use that sand if I can't find white sand.

People talk about taking filter media or sand or gravel from an established tank. Did I read that right, can you take gravel from an established tank? I thought the good bacteria lived in the filter?

If the cycling process stalls at some point in a new tank do you have to start over? Or is it possible to kinda revive it?

I have a 20g heating tank (still cycling). What are ways to create the biggest bioload for that tank. Feed back would be fantastic.

In the picture I posted with this, there's like whitish see though on the glass of my tank. Is that algae or some thing?
