IKEA led strip for night viewing

IKEA led strip for night viewing. It's the full color wheel from white to red. The pictures of the red and blue doesn't do it justice. It's just enough light to bring out my nocturnal catfish. There's a dial to adjust any color choice.

What patience and help from AA friends!

I fought a major algae bloom for 3 months. I had an imbalance of light, co2 and ferts. With some patience and help from AA, I can now truly enjoy my tank and hobby once again. I almost threw in the towel. It's been a long road from a brackish tank to a hi tech heavily planted tank. Thanks...

Unless it's just coincidence but while watching tv tonight i've observed that my co2 is still running. I do understand the concept of a ph set point and controller to keep co2 / ph levels stable. I can't win. I just want to scream!!!.

So I thought my HC was taking hold once I donated my 24 Ember Tetras that were nibbling and up rooting the HC. I come home from work and see half of it floating. I found another culprit and my HC demise. Trumpet snails! I forgot I had these in my tank to help aerate my substrate...
