could someone please tell me if there should be a certain distance from the rock and the light or the top of the water my rock on the top seems to turning brown like but the rock on the bottom layer still has very great colors and cause it turned brown it's dead? will it come back

ok today i am at no3 - 40 dropped a little it was 80 sunday no2 - 10.0 kh - 180 ph - 8.4 amonia - 0 calcium - 420 specific gravity - 1.024 is my specific grvity ok should be 1.021-1.024 right calcium should be 400 to 450 right i think that i am on the right track amonia spiked and dropped...

i just looked in my tank and saw this thing it is clear with a red vein like thing running through the middle of it and on the one end has long very thing tenticle like things any ideas ??? the picture may not be that great

runny nose , sneezing, itchy eyes, nose, throat and pain above my eyes my man has allergies and he says that i most likely have an allergy to something so the rock is the only thing i think of this is horrible

it is the saltwater reading i have only had the tank up now for like 1 week live sand and rock was added friday more rock was also added tuesday the amonia has seemed to jump pretty quick maybe cycle will be done about another week or two?

ok with the live rock that came today i got this spiney thing urchin i presume real dark purple like almost black i read that some will eat fish and such any info should i try to get it out didn't come off with dip and didn't see it til it was in the tank
