Shade is your cure... as far as the coons, maybe some dogs?

Don't know the brand, but its the blue liquid, u can get at Walmart. But be sure to change half of your water out and follow directions.

The best remedy for gin clear water is shade. U can go as simple as a tarp, or build a patio. Nevertheless, take away most of the sunlight, and the algae cannot grow. Google it. There are meds that u can add to the water. But, I would do a water change, Try adding some salt, and u can even give each fish its own salt bath... also, have u introduced anything new to the pond? Vegetation, or other fish....?

If not covered, it tough to control algae. Best remedy, shade, and you'll have gin clear water.

I'm not an expert like some of these guys, but have been at it for about 1 1/2 yrs. Started with a 300 shell, now have a 900 gallon in ground. I am recovering from a crash that killed a few of my bigger Koi.. so I can share some info. Don't overstock, if u have 1 or 5 too many fish, like me...
