I've always noticed the lower the temp the more less active my fish tend to be. I wouldn't be concerned as long as you keep it above 80 and below 86.. constant tho with as little flux as possible. my .02cents

From what I've heard they are usually friendly unless bothered in which case they can easily kill/harm other fish in the tank with their electrical pulses.. They also like that tube you can buy for them.

hehe, Skimmer is a controversal subject. I myself have never used a skimmer mainly for the money. I also do wkly water changes. Its and option but aslo never had a tank bigger then 29 gallons. Kevin, Aaron know more then I so I will go back to my corner now ;) good luck Jacob
