So we've never had this kind of algae before. It looks like hair algae? Its on one of our live plants, and all of the stems on the end has algae growing off of them. The ottos dont seem to be eating on them. is there anything specific that eat that kind?

I have two tanks. a 29gallon and a 36 gallon. How come the water in my 36 gallon evaporates soooo much quicker then the 29? I find myself topping off the water more often. I feel like the water level in the 29 never goes down. Just curious? Thanks all! :D
