I got a red tiger lotus in the mail today. A lot of the leaves were mush. So I trimmed them off an planted it. As the night passes leaves are falling off. I now have 4 leaves and will probably have zero by morning. So! My question is: if it looses all of it's leaves will it grow back or die off?

I was at the store today looking around and saw these. I know you can put osmocote in capsules and use as a fert, could something like this be used instead?

I've not had them for long but they have quickly become my favorite in the tank.

Has anyone ever used the Jobes house plant stick fertilizer for their aquariums who have rams? A friend of mine told me to get Jobes stick fert from Walmart. But I worry about using them in a ram tank. Though I've seen them used in an angel tank.

I have 2 ebr and 2 gbr in a planted tank. I'm worried about adding fertilizers cuz I don't wanna hurt the rams. QUESTION: will adding liquid fertilizer or fertilizer sticks to the tank harm my rams in any way?

Does raising your tank temp help the fry/juvies grow quicker? And if so, what temp should it be kept at? I have mine at 76* and some of the babies seem to be growing soooo incredibly slow.

I found my frontosa dropping eggs tonight. My fish are less than a year old. I've read and been told they won't start breeding till they are 2-3 years old. And the egg was ivory in color! I feel like a frantic momma. When do they really start breeding? I need advise from someone who's had them!!!
