I found my frontosa dropping eggs tonight. My fish are less than a year old. I've read and been told they won't start breeding till they are 2-3 years old. And the egg was ivory in color! I feel like a frantic momma. When do they really start breeding? I need advise from someone who's had them!!!

Do you have any pictures? I would love to see the mom and dad! And I thought it was 2-3 years as well.

I have pics of my frontosa tank on my profile. I don't have pics of this particular female though. One guy said that at this age the males are too young to fertilize and the females are too young to hold. WHEW! I was not ready for breeding frontosas!! lol
