Lol I know it`s a year later. :oops: Still having algae problems? High Phosphates or high nitrates could cause hair algae. Go to Tony`s tropical fish and birds. I`m sure he has something to lower the phosphates.

Hoops,with Bio- Spira there is no cycle at all. The fish can be added the same day but of course acclimate them first.

If you get some saltwater Bio-Spira it`ll cycle the tank within a couple hours. I used it in November and added the fish 4 hrs.later. This is August and all fish and inverts are still doing great.

I had to put her down because she couldn`t eat or breath well. She was at the top of the tank sucking air so hard I thought it was my Loaches clicking. :cry: I`d still like to know what cause it. She had nothing stuck,i looked with a magnifying glass.

What fish do you have in the tank? Is it planted? Try cutting back on the amount of food you give the fish. Ramshorn snails will eat some of the Hair Algae. Do you vacuum out all uneaten food? The algae feeds off of left over food. :?

What other fish are in the tank? Do you have more than one angelfish?

A Bristle Nose or Clown Pleco will due ok in thoses temps and won`t get very big.

My Bamboo shrimp stays hid and I only see him when I do water changes. He`s a filter feeder so no need to worry with special foods or feeding directly.

:lol: Lol, I thought you had a real problem. Just darken the tank for a couple days. I used an old beach towel to cover mine.

Loaches love soft slightly acid water. Just remember they`re not aggressive at all so i`d worry about them being bullies. Under stress Clown Loaches can get ick very easily :? I vote NO.

Afirefish and the gamma might fish,they`re too simular in shape. I honestly think your tank is stocked to it`s limit,BTMO.

Your Bamboo shrimp will do great on his own,they are filter feeders. No need to worry about it finding food. :D I hardly see mine but he`s molting regularly.

a humped back is also a sign of old age usually followed shortly with death.
